The Dance Mambo Method

Your development at Dance Mambo follows a deliberate three-stage progression: Control, then Expression, then Challenge. Each stage builds on the last. Choreography Projects

A choreography project forces your dancing into a different gear. You discover what you are actually capable of under real performance pressure and you come out of it a better dancer than when you went in. Seasonal projects open exclusively to active Dance Mambo students. Limited spots per team.

Private Coaching & The Mambo Mastery Program

For dancers who want more than a class. The Mambo Mastery Program is a 24-week, fully bespoke coaching system combining private lessons, studio practice time, group training, and weekly video feedback; built around your specific goals and delivered in person by Fed or Pao. Available twice a year. Application required. Individual private lessons also available at $99 per hour.

Why Dance Mambo

Fed and Pao are the founders, directors, and sole teachers at Dance Mambo. Since 2018, they have invested over $30,000 per year in direct training with the leading mambo and salsa on2 specialists in New York, Europe, and Latin America and brought every piece of that knowledge back to their Sydney studio.

Their teaching is rooted in the New York style tradition pioneered by Eddie Torres, the style you find at the world's best congresses and on the floors of serious salsa socials everywhere.

They have performed and competed internationally, and they continue to do so because they believe you cannot be a teacher if you stop being a student.

Dance Mambo exists because they could not find anywhere in Sydney that taught Mambo & Salsa the way they imagined it. So they built it.
